Salesperson at the Dancer's Closet
2014 - present
During my time at the Dancer's Closet, I was a salesperson, cashier, and I helped manage the online store. I learned a lot about interpersonal skills and managing money. Even though I don't live in my hometown anymore, I still go in during breaks to help my manager run the store.

2011 - 2015
I graduated 3rd in my class from East Wake Academy. I was a member of the National Honor Society, Gay Straight Alliance, and the EWA Dance Ensemble. I also participated in the drama department all four years of high school.
University of North Carolina at Charlotte
2015 - present
I am currently studying Art History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am part of the Gender Excellence first-year learning community. Through the learning community, I participate in volunteer and educational events that help broaden the public's knowledge of feminism and specific topics within feminism.

My freshman year at UNC Charlotte, I joined a Women's & Gender Studies Learning Community. Through Gen-X, I have participated in many activism and service projects. Such as UNCC's Silent Witness event for domestic violence, Vagina Monologues fundraising, Equal Pay Day, Take Back the Night, Planned Parenthood's Condom Couture fashion show.
Planned Parenthood's Condom Couture Fashion Show
February 27th, 2016
I received the amazing opportunity to work alongside Planned Parenthood for their Condom Couture fashion show. Planned Parenthood organized Condom Couture in order to initiate conversations about the importance of safe sex and the use of contraceptives. During Condom Couture, it was my responsibility to get the models from hair and makeup to their photoshoots, then organize them backstage for the runway.
