ABOUT ME

"God may be in the details, but the goddess is in the questions. Once we begin to ask them there is no turning back." - Gloria Steinem
Hi, I'm Hope Williams! I'm a freshman at UNC Charlotte. I study Art History and plan on going to grad school and receiving my masters curatorial studies after completing my undergrad. Ideally, I'd like to go on to work in an art museum curating galleries and exhibitions.
Along with art, I am extremely passionate about feminism and social justice issues. I'm an intersectional feminist, meaning I recognize that women of different demographics, especially marginalized demographics, experience sexism and oppression in different ways. Through the Gen-X Learning Community, I've learned to apply feminism in my everyday life and also gotten the opportunity to volunteer and be an activist in my community.
